Murder:This Lady Was Tied To The Bed And Set On Fire By the Man she Loved

Juliana, the mother of 21-year-old Tolu Esuola, who was found burnt to death on her bed in Oyo, Oyo State, on July 24, has said that Kunle, the suspect arrested in connection with the incident, was seen in the house on the fateful day by her neighbours.

The woman, who spoke with our correspondent in Oyo on Thursday, said, “Some of our neighbours told me they saw Kunle in our house that day.”
Juliana said Kunle had impregnated her daughter but terminated it, resulting in a frosty relationship between the duo.

She told PUNCH Metro, “Kunle was like our son. My husband took him in about four years ago after we converted him from Islam to Christianity. He began going to church with us.

“We did everything for him as if he was our son. I was shocked when I was told that he had impregnated her.”
Juliana, however, said Kunle was sent out of the house after he beat up Tolu following a disagreement.

She said her husband bought a motorcycle for Kunle to use for commercial purposes after he lost his job and wanted to commit suicide.
She said, “One day Tolu’s sister sent N10, 000 to her through Kunle’s account and he refused to deliver it.

“When I demanded the money, he flared up and stormed out of the house. Tolu went to him and challenged him for acting that way. But he beat her terribly.
“Since that day, I washed my hand off him. I went to where he was staying and collected the key of the motorcycle my husband gave to him.”

Juliana said the night Tolu died, she had gone to the farm with her other children and asked Tolu to stay home for household chores.

Tolu’s uncle, Mr. Ranti Esuola, said some time ago, Kunle came to him and reported the ill-treatment meted out to him by Tolu’s mother.
Ranti said, “He told me he was angry and that he would deal with Tolu because she did not want him to succeed in life.

“I was surprised he could be saying things like that to me. When I asked him what Tolu did, he said she went to report him to the father of another girl he was dating.

“I think he was about to secure a loan from the father of that same girl. He was working for the man and dating his daughter at the time.

“But immediately Tolu reported to the man that he was having a romantic relationship with his daughter, he decided not to help Kunle anymore. He was really angry he lost the opportunity to secure that loan.”

A neighbour and family friend of the Esuola family, Mr. David Oshotolu, told our correspondent that the day before the incident, Tolu was with him and his wife when Kunle called her that he would visit her the next day.

Oshotolu said, “We were alerted to a fire at the house and firefighters were called. When we realised that she had died in the fire, my mind went straight to Kunle. I knew he had said he was coming that day.

“When we called him, I was shocked when he said he was at Minna. I told some other people to call him and he said he was in Lagos. He kept giving different locations.”
Oshotolu said his suspicion was confirmed when a bus driver told them he dropped Kunle in Oyo that day.

He said he saw that the ankle and the wrist of the corpse were tied with cable wire when they were carrying the body.

“The wire had melted. We were all shocked. There was no sign that she moved from the bed. She could have been killed before the fire,” Oshotolu said.
However, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Tambari Muhammed, said on Thursday that Kunle was being interrogated.

Woman Catches Husband Having Sex With Their 15 Year Old Daughter

When people misbehave, they now blame the devil. Why would you be having sex with your 15 year old daughter, your only daughter? What will she do in the future, how is she going to face her future husband now?  Serious abomination. Alu.

A 45-year-old woman has caught her husband having sex with their only daughter of 15 years. The man, 51, resides with his wife and their daughter at Ayobo, Ipaja, Lagos, southwest Nigeria.

A reliable source revealed that the girl’s mother who is a trader at Oshodi, on the fateful day, went  to Festac Town but had to return home because she was not feeling well. According to the source, the woman, on getting home, met her husband and their daughter on their matrimonial bed having sex and the man sucking her breasts.

The woman was said to have raised an alarm which attracted neighbours and passersby. Speaking with Crimewatch the woman said: “Must I be monitoring my daughter or be afraid when my daughter is with her father? One of our tenants once told me that the closeness of my husband  and our daughter was suspicious. I got annoyed and told the woman that she was talking nonsense but within me I thought it is not possble until I caught them in the act. I am going to move out of this house with my daugher because it is a taboo, and in the future people will tell the story even to the person who may want to marry her”

When Crimewatch confronted the man, he pleaded that he be forgiven, claiming that it was the handiwork of the devil. The girl wept profusely and refused to speak when Crimewatch sought to hear her side of the story.

Who Killed This 11 Year Old Girl And Left Her Body To Decompose?

What could have led to the death of this young girl and how can any sane person claim a child died in her house for 3 days before she noticed? Is she a shoe or bag that you don't use regularly? A whole human being? What a waste. God is on the throne sa.

At Obosi, a community in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, uncertainty currently rules the air, following the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of an 11 year old girl, Chioma, in Lagos early in the year. Chioma Menkiti, the daughter of Chief Michael Menkiti, an octogenarian, was living with somebody in Lagos where she was reported dead.
Daily Sun gathered that the deceased’s mother, Mrs. Chinwe Menkiti, is the second wife of Pa Menkiti. He had remarried after the death of his first wife. Trouble started in January when Ifeyinwa, the eldest daughter in the family and a half-sister to the deceased, pleaded with her father to allow Chioma to live with her friend in Lagos. She had argued that the girl would get better education and good upbringing with her friend in Lagos. The old man obliged and the little girl travelled.

The deceased was reportedly taken to the Iyana Ejigbo home of Ifeyinwa’s friend, Ngozi (other names withheld by us). Chioma was to serve as a maid to Ngozi, a mother of six. But Ifeyinwa said her friend never allowed her to see how the little girl was faring.

“At a time, I called Ngozi to tell her that I would be coming to her place so that I would use the opportunity to know how my little sister was doing, because somebody that just came from the village would definitely have some problem acclimatizing to life in the city, but Ngozi told me that her family would be going somewhere with Chioma on holidays and that I should wait until they returned,” Ifeyinwa said.

She said she tried visiting her friend again, but received a similar message. This time, she was told that Ngozi’s children, including the deceased, went to stay with her brother in another part of Lagos. “Ngozi also told me that she would call me whenever her children returned. She assured me that Chioma was doing well, that she was coping well with her children. I relaxed since we don’t live in the same area in Lagos,” she said.

Ifeyinwa said she never received any call from her friend until one day when Ngozi called to break the sad news to her that Chioma was dead. “When she called to inform me about Chioma’s death, I initially thought she was joking. On a second thought, I knew that death is not something one jokes with. I rushed to their house but she had already gone to the police to tell them that Chioma died and that the girl was dead inside her house for three days before she noticed her corpse. I saw my sister and noticed that she had already started decomposing and I couldn’t believe it. I called my father to inform him of what I was seeing. He was so devastated and everybody was very confused,” Ifeyinwa said.

It was learnt that when she was asked how Chioma died, Ngozi told the police that it was her children that discovered the corpse when they realized that the deceased’s room was stinking as a result of the decomposing body. “When I was asking her questions concerning the death of my sister, Ngozi told me Chioma was possessed with an evil spirit. She said Chioma was behaving strangely and that she must have been killed by the evil spirit.”

When the case was reported at the village, the old father of the deceased wept and said the body of his daughter should be brought home for a proper burial, adding that he was not ready to make a case with anybody. On the day the decomposing corpse of Chioma was brought down to her hometown from Lagos, tension heightened as the elders of Obosi community sat to look into the circumstances surrounding the death of their daughter. And they started askingquestions.

According to Ngozi, the deceased started behaving like a person possessed by evil spirits which she said might have been responsible for her death. She allegedly told the elders that she neither killed the deceased nor maltreated her. Many people were angry, however, when she said Chioma died for three days and neither she nor her husband was aware, adding that her children alerted her and her husband that Chioma’s room was stinking. She said when they opened Chioma’s room, they found her body already decomposing because she was already dead for three days.

The deceased’s family eventually decided to bury their daughter, but they told Ngozi and her husband to take charge of the burial arrangement, saying they couldn’t afford the responsibility owing to financial difficulties. They told Ngozi and her husband to bring N200, 000 for the burial arrangement but the family pleaded to pay N150, 000 which was accepted. The corpse was brought down from Lagos to a mortuary in Obosi waiting for the final journey to the great beyond.

At the lying in state at her father’s compound, women and children that knew the deceased couldn’t control their tears while the 82-year-old father broke down in uncontrollable tears when he saw his daughter’s corpse. However, the burial took another dimension when the pastor invited to officiate at the interment, Pastor Izuchukwu stopped the programme halfway and told the family that the girl’s death was not ordinary.

According to Pastor Izuchukwu, there were so many things that were not normal in the death of the girl, adding that she was used for some funny ritual. The family then started having a re-think. They also discovered that some vital organs, including her ears had allegedly been removed from the body. Pastor Izuchukwu left the compound and invited policemen from Obosi Police Station who came and took the corpse away and deposited her back in the mortuary to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.

Meanwhile, the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Awka but the family is still crying out for justice over the death of their daughter even as they accused the police of trying to cover up the crime. Speaking to Daily Sun, a family member said: “How can a woman who committed this type of great crime be walking free in the streets? If you go to Obosi, you will see her still bubbling and walking freely. The police should intensify investigation to look into the cause of Chioma’s death” The Campaign for Democracy (CD), South East zone and the Women Arise for Change Initiative in Anambra State have condemned the act, urging the police to arrest all those involved in the death of the little girl.

According to CD’s Vice Chairman for the South East, Dede Uzor A Uzor and Women Arise for Change Initiative, Anambra state Chairperson, Njide Emeh, the fact that the principal suspect still walks freely in the streets leaves so many questions unanswered. They called for a thorough investigation into the crime.

They also insisted that they would go to any length to make sure that justice was done in the case, pointing out that the cause of the little girl’s death should be unraveled. The police have also assured that investigation was ongoing, promising to unravel the true cause of Chioma’s death and punish the perpetrators, if any.

Teacher Disvirgins 3 Year-Old Pupil With Pencil.

As you read this, a  popular private nursery and primary school, IVY school, located at Isheri, Ojodu Berger is battling with a child abuse case. And the case being is still investigated by the state CID, M.A.K. Smith Street, Panti, Yaba, borders on what has been tagged Sexual Assault By Penetration on a 3yr old pupil (name withheld) by her class teacher, Miss Oruma Patience.

According to a petition written by the mother of the little girl, Mrs Zainab Rodemade and addressed to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, State CID, a copy of which was made available to City People. The whole saga began when the girl returned from school on a Thursday afternoon.
"On 21st June, 2012, my daughter returned from school as usual and I decided to bath her at about 8.20p.m I noticed she cried  when I was about washing her private part pointing finger to her private part which arose my interest to find out why. The petition read in part: And they stated further that "it was their daughter who explained her aunt Favour inserted pencil into her private part in their school toilet and also asked her to demonstrate how her aunt did it which she did. The disturbed mum further stated in her petition, I took it upon myself to report to the head teacher of the school the next day 22nd June 2012. The head teacher called the said aunt Favour and 2 other female teachers for my daughter to identify the person who used pencil on her private part surprisingly she still pointed to the same aunt Favour.
My husband and I decided to report the case to the police at Isheri police station where we were given a letter to go to the General Hospital, Ikeja. We were reliably informed that my daughter has been defiled already as a result of that pencil the aunt used on her. I am highly disturbed and devastated as a mother when IPO in charge of the case and his boss informed me on 27th June 2012 that we should settle the case that they cannot go further again. This was to our greatest surprise. The petition ended on a pleading note to the deputy commissioner of police. Sir on this note, I will be glad if you can use your good office to call for this case and discreetly probe into it so as to serve as deterrent to other teachers and others out there because I learnt the menace is a common practice in this very school which could be stopped forthwith as many babies have lost their virginity through this means in the same school for spiritual purpose.

A copy of the medical report from Lagos state university teaching hospital Ikeja, confirmed that the little girl had been defiled was also made available to us. Meanwhile ,there was an interesting part angle to the story when the father of the allegedly assaulted baby, Alhaji Rodemade, recounted to city people that he was not around when the incident happened and on his return  from far away Ekiti state where he had gone for his business, he took it upon himself to the root of the matter. And in so doing, he went to the school and asked to see the class teacher that molested his daughter, and the head teacher, Mr Sunmola whom he approached pointedly told him that the teacher was not in the school. But out of rage, he grabbed the 2 teachers standing close tightly by their clothes that he won’t leave them alone until they produce the wanted teacher. Alhaji Rodemade added that was the time they went to fetch the wanted teacher who was hiding behind the school. And he concluded that the school might be a party to the crime which is the only possible reason they were shielding the culprit from him.

The husband to the proprietress of the school, Mr Olaiya, had earlier approached in person at the Isheri Police station where the case was before it was transferred to Panti that he should let them settle the case between them and that he(the husband to the proprietress) was willing to give him any amount he wanted which he blatantly rebuffed.
And on the Saturday, that followed the Friday on which he went to demand to see the teacher the teacher that molested his daughter, a detachment of police  from CID came banging at his gate early in the morning and on enquiry, he was told they wanted to arrest him for a reported case of harassment  at Ivy nursery and primary school with thugs which came to him as a strange accusation since he went to the school alone out of rage as a concerned father.

He said he made some calls to some people who advised him to follow the policemen and on getting to their station, they deliberately took him round to see how criminals were being tortured inhumanly, apparently to scare him into dropping the case he was fighting against the school.

He further stated that they never knew he is not a small fry like they thought and after making a call to a top rank police officer who spoke with the DPO at the police station, he was asked to go home after writing his statement. A ritual angle was suspected about the matter given a high degree of credence because the little girl also recounted the blood that came out of her private part was dabbed with a white cloth by the teacher. And since the owners of the school were doing everything to kill the matter instead of exposing and making the teacher face the music, the teacher might just be their agent with the mission to get blood of virgin girls for ritual purposes.

When we visited state CID at Panti on Monday, July 2nd, it was confirmed that the case had been instituted at the station and also witnessed interrogation by the Deputy Commissioner of Police of the parties involved in the case at his office which was discreetly observed by this reporter. The parties include the father and mother of the assaulted girl, the girl herself, the suspect, Miss Oruma Patience, the school head teacher, Mr Sunmola, the husband to the proprietress, Mr Olaiya, and the lawyer, Bar. Emeka Okumah, and few other plain cloth police officers.

The proprietress of the school Mrs Olaiya was conspicuously absent. And during the interrogation the same scenario of the little girl pointing to the petite and fear –stricken teacher as the one that merced through her private part with a pencil. The teacher denied allegations, in spite of all the indicators to the contrary. As at the time of filing this report, police were still carrying out further investigation into the matter.

Woman Lures Virgin For Rapist

Published on July 24, 2012 by    ·   16 Comments
A woman, Ukamaka Oluche, who allegedly lured her teenage friend (names withheld) to a suspected rapist, Tunde Mesanga, has landed herself and the man in serious trouble.
An Apapa Magistrate’s Court in Lagos where they are standing trial on a two-count charge of conspiracy and rape, has ordered that they be remanded at Kirikiri prisons, Apapa.
P.M.NEWS gathered that Ukamaka was a friend to the 18-year old teenage girl for some years. The victim confided in Ukamaka that she was a virgin and would like to remain so until after her university education and marriage. The teenager did not know that her friend, Ukamaka, was not happy at such a revelation.
The incident was later reported to the police and the lady and Mesanga were arrested and charged to court.
The police prosecutor told the court that the two suspects contravened sections 409 and 263 of the Criminal Code Laws of Lagos state of Nigeria, 2011. When the charge was read to them, Ukamaka and Mesanga pleaded not guilty. The presiding magistrate, Mr. E.O. Ogundare admitted each of them to bail in the sum of N200,000 with one surety each in the like sum.
The matter was adjourned till 19 October, 2012 for mention. But because they did not meet the bail condition on time, they were remanded in Kirikiri prisons, Apapa, pending when their sureties will perfect their bail conditions.

Man shoots wife for cooking the wrong soup

A former member of the Enugu Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC) Mathias Nweze, on Monday rushed to the police station in the town of Umuida Enugu Ezike in Igboeze North Local Government Area of Enugu State to report himself for killing his wife.
In his report to the police, Nweze claimed that while he was sleeping in his house at about 11 pm last Saturday, his generator went off twice, arousing the suspicion that robbers might have invaded his compound. He therefore brought out his pump action gun and fired several times at the direction of the generator.
Having living with his two wives in the same house, he claimed that while trying to shoot whoever was out there in the compound, one of the bullets hit his wife, leaving her critically injured.
However, the neighbours of the Nwezes believed the suspect must have made up the story to the police to lessen the weight of his crime.
According to two neighbours who spoke to ThisDay newspaper on grounds of anonymity, they said the suspect had given money to the late wife to cook some delicacy for him but he was angered when he found out that rather than cook what he wanted, he was served something else which they identified as ‘corn mill’.
An angry Nweze had rushed into his room, picked his gun, stormed out, aimed the gun at the wife, and pulled the trigger, the neighbours claimed.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the incident, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the mortuary for autopsy. “We have commenced investigation into the incident that led to the shooting of a housewife by the husband,” he said.
