Teacher Disvirgins 3 Year-Old Pupil With Pencil.

As you read this, a  popular private nursery and primary school, IVY school, located at Isheri, Ojodu Berger is battling with a child abuse case. And the case being is still investigated by the state CID, M.A.K. Smith Street, Panti, Yaba, borders on what has been tagged Sexual Assault By Penetration on a 3yr old pupil (name withheld) by her class teacher, Miss Oruma Patience.

According to a petition written by the mother of the little girl, Mrs Zainab Rodemade and addressed to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, State CID, a copy of which was made available to City People. The whole saga began when the girl returned from school on a Thursday afternoon.
"On 21st June, 2012, my daughter returned from school as usual and I decided to bath her at about 8.20p.m I noticed she cried  when I was about washing her private part pointing finger to her private part which arose my interest to find out why. The petition read in part: And they stated further that "it was their daughter who explained her aunt Favour inserted pencil into her private part in their school toilet and also asked her to demonstrate how her aunt did it which she did. The disturbed mum further stated in her petition, I took it upon myself to report to the head teacher of the school the next day 22nd June 2012. The head teacher called the said aunt Favour and 2 other female teachers for my daughter to identify the person who used pencil on her private part surprisingly she still pointed to the same aunt Favour.
My husband and I decided to report the case to the police at Isheri police station where we were given a letter to go to the General Hospital, Ikeja. We were reliably informed that my daughter has been defiled already as a result of that pencil the aunt used on her. I am highly disturbed and devastated as a mother when IPO in charge of the case and his boss informed me on 27th June 2012 that we should settle the case that they cannot go further again. This was to our greatest surprise. The petition ended on a pleading note to the deputy commissioner of police. Sir on this note, I will be glad if you can use your good office to call for this case and discreetly probe into it so as to serve as deterrent to other teachers and others out there because I learnt the menace is a common practice in this very school which could be stopped forthwith as many babies have lost their virginity through this means in the same school for spiritual purpose.

A copy of the medical report from Lagos state university teaching hospital Ikeja, confirmed that the little girl had been defiled was also made available to us. Meanwhile ,there was an interesting part angle to the story when the father of the allegedly assaulted baby, Alhaji Rodemade, recounted to city people that he was not around when the incident happened and on his return  from far away Ekiti state where he had gone for his business, he took it upon himself to the root of the matter. And in so doing, he went to the school and asked to see the class teacher that molested his daughter, and the head teacher, Mr Sunmola whom he approached pointedly told him that the teacher was not in the school. But out of rage, he grabbed the 2 teachers standing close tightly by their clothes that he won’t leave them alone until they produce the wanted teacher. Alhaji Rodemade added that was the time they went to fetch the wanted teacher who was hiding behind the school. And he concluded that the school might be a party to the crime which is the only possible reason they were shielding the culprit from him.

The husband to the proprietress of the school, Mr Olaiya, had earlier approached in person at the Isheri Police station where the case was before it was transferred to Panti that he should let them settle the case between them and that he(the husband to the proprietress) was willing to give him any amount he wanted which he blatantly rebuffed.
And on the Saturday, that followed the Friday on which he went to demand to see the teacher the teacher that molested his daughter, a detachment of police  from CID came banging at his gate early in the morning and on enquiry, he was told they wanted to arrest him for a reported case of harassment  at Ivy nursery and primary school with thugs which came to him as a strange accusation since he went to the school alone out of rage as a concerned father.

He said he made some calls to some people who advised him to follow the policemen and on getting to their station, they deliberately took him round to see how criminals were being tortured inhumanly, apparently to scare him into dropping the case he was fighting against the school.

He further stated that they never knew he is not a small fry like they thought and after making a call to a top rank police officer who spoke with the DPO at the police station, he was asked to go home after writing his statement. A ritual angle was suspected about the matter given a high degree of credence because the little girl also recounted the blood that came out of her private part was dabbed with a white cloth by the teacher. And since the owners of the school were doing everything to kill the matter instead of exposing and making the teacher face the music, the teacher might just be their agent with the mission to get blood of virgin girls for ritual purposes.

When we visited state CID at Panti on Monday, July 2nd, it was confirmed that the case had been instituted at the station and also witnessed interrogation by the Deputy Commissioner of Police of the parties involved in the case at his office which was discreetly observed by this reporter. The parties include the father and mother of the assaulted girl, the girl herself, the suspect, Miss Oruma Patience, the school head teacher, Mr Sunmola, the husband to the proprietress, Mr Olaiya, and the lawyer, Bar. Emeka Okumah, and few other plain cloth police officers.

The proprietress of the school Mrs Olaiya was conspicuously absent. And during the interrogation the same scenario of the little girl pointing to the petite and fear –stricken teacher as the one that merced through her private part with a pencil. The teacher denied allegations, in spite of all the indicators to the contrary. As at the time of filing this report, police were still carrying out further investigation into the matter.

Man shoots wife for cooking the wrong soup

A former member of the Enugu Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC) Mathias Nweze, on Monday rushed to the police station in the town of Umuida Enugu Ezike in Igboeze North Local Government Area of Enugu State to report himself for killing his wife.
In his report to the police, Nweze claimed that while he was sleeping in his house at about 11 pm last Saturday, his generator went off twice, arousing the suspicion that robbers might have invaded his compound. He therefore brought out his pump action gun and fired several times at the direction of the generator.
Having living with his two wives in the same house, he claimed that while trying to shoot whoever was out there in the compound, one of the bullets hit his wife, leaving her critically injured.
However, the neighbours of the Nwezes believed the suspect must have made up the story to the police to lessen the weight of his crime.
According to two neighbours who spoke to ThisDay newspaper on grounds of anonymity, they said the suspect had given money to the late wife to cook some delicacy for him but he was angered when he found out that rather than cook what he wanted, he was served something else which they identified as ‘corn mill’.
An angry Nweze had rushed into his room, picked his gun, stormed out, aimed the gun at the wife, and pulled the trigger, the neighbours claimed.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the incident, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the mortuary for autopsy. “We have commenced investigation into the incident that led to the shooting of a housewife by the husband,” he said.

Man stones girlfriend to death

A young man, Mr. Lawrence Ette, has been accused of stoning his 23-year-old girlfriend, Miss Rosaline Christopher, to death.

The tragedy was said to have occurred penultimate Sunday at 13, Academy Street, Calabar, Cross River State.
An eyewitness, who is the landlady of the deceased, Miss Dorothy Bassey, said Rosaline had a brawl with her boyfriend, before he allegedly killed her.

Bassey said Rosaline, who lived with her aged mother and siblings, had been in a relationship with Ette for a while.

She said because of the frosty relationship between the lovers in recent time, Rosaline’s mother stopped Ette from visiting her daughter.
“But even with the instruction from the old woman, Ette kept sneaking in to see the girl particularly at night,” she added.

It was learnt that during one of such visits penultimate Sunday, there was a misunderstanding between the lovers, which prompted the girl to ask Ette to leave.

Bassey said, “Rosaline did not know that Ette took her phone away. After some time, her younger sister, Nne, wanted to use the phone only for her to find out that the phone was missing.
“That was when she discovered that Ette had gone with the phone. Nne decided to go and look for Ette so that she can get her sister’s phone.

“But while Nne took the main exit and headed for Target Street, Ette sneaked into the house through the back door from Webber Street and Nne missed him.”
It was gathered that when Ette returned to the house, an argument ensued between the lovers resulting in a fight.
“She did not scream while they were struggling because she wanted to send him away quietly without attracting her mother’s attention but that was her mistake as Ette stepped out of the room, got a stone and hit her with it,” the landlady said.
She said when he realised that the girl was dead; Ette allegedly attempted to dispose of the body by throwing it over the fence.

Bassey said, “He carried her on his shoulder towards the backyard and was trying to throw the body over the fence. When the girl’s mother heard a strange noise at the backyard, she asked Nne to find out what it was.
“But when Nne got to the backyard, she saw Ette carrying her sister on his shoulder. Immediately he sensed that he had been sighted, he abandoned the corpse and fled.

“Since it was dark, a neighbour brought out a torch and during a search, Rosaline’s corpse was found inside the gutter.”
PUNCH Metro
learnt that her corpse had been taken to the mortuary at the General Hospital, Calabar.
One of Ette’s neighbours at 10, Anating Street, Calabar, who craved anonymity, said the suspect “hurriedly came here and packed some clothes into a bag and left and has since not been seen.”
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr. John Umoh, said the matter which was reported at Atakpa Police Station was being handled by the homicide unit of the police.
“It will not be long before we get him, the advisable thing for him to do is to come out of hiding now,” the PPRO said.

“I cannot accept a situation where Yemi is enjoying her husband and mine at the same time thus denying me the opportunity to enjoy my husband”, said Ruka, a mother of three.

Rape Of Minor: Wife Hands Hubby Over To Police

Published on July 5, 2012 by    ·
By Jamiu Yisa
The police in Lagos have arrested a 57-year-old man Badeogun Ogunbisi who allegedly defiles under aged girls in his vicinity
He was allegedly caught by his wife, Afusat Ogunbisi, while having carnal knowledge of an 11-year old pupil, whom he allegedly cast a spell upon while on errand for her mother.
The father of three, two girls and a boy, who resides at Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, was arrested and detained at Alagolo police station, Ipaja.
A police source at the police station who pleaded anonymity told P.M.NEWS that preliminary investigations conducted aside the little girl’s confession, show that Ogunbisi actually had carnal knowledge of the minor.
The source said that their investigations further revealed that the accused is fond of taking advantage of little girls in the area by luring them to his shop, rape and threaten them not to tell their parents.
He added that the matter will be charged to court as soon as possible in order to allow the law take its course.
P.M.NEWS reliably gathered that the Yewa, Ogun State-born culprit had earlier been caught and taken to Meiran police station over same offence few months back, when he allegedly raped an under aged girl who came to sew cloth in his shop.
Neighbours who came to the police station in company of  the latest victim’s parents, also attest to the fact that Ogunbisi is fond of defiling minors in his shop under the pretext of buying things from them.
It was further learnt that the lid was blown open on the latest incident when his wife ensured that she traced the house of  the victim’s parents and report the matter to them.
The alleged raped girl while speaking with our correspondent, said she was on her way to supply one of her mother’s customers meat pie when Ogunbisi accosted her, used something to hit her on her chest and she lost consciousness immediately.
She said that he took her to his room, removed her pant, had sex with her and warned her not to tell anybody. He also warned her that she will become dumb if she tried to do so.
“The time was about 4pm and my mother asked me to go and supply meat pie to her customer who was living around his vicinity. On my way, I passed in front of his shop and he stopped me. When I did, he used something to hit me on my chest and I lost consciousness. He then took me to his room. He removed my pant and slept with me.
“When he finished, he told me that I should not tell anybody, not even my parents. He said if I try to divulge what happened between us, I would become dumb. I was frightened. I couldn’t tell my parents when I got home and I behaved as if nothing has happened to me,” she said.
According to Ogunbisi’s wife, Afusat while speaking with P.M.NEWS: “I have always kept tab on him because he cannot control his libido. I have also warned him several times to stop calling all the small girls either to buy something from them or send them on errands. So when I noticed this little girl with him, I became suspicious of his movement.
“When I challeged him on what was between him and the girl, he said nothing was between him and the girl, that she wanted to make use of the toilet. Not quite long after the girl went to our back yard, my husband hurriedly gave the paracetamol he had earlier bought to me and rushed to the back yard too, telling me he wanted to ease himself.
“After some minutes, I decided that I should go and see what was happening and I caught them in the act. This is not his first time. There was also a time he raped a little girl  a few months back after he successfully lured her into his shop. He was arrested and taken to Meiran police station but was released on bail.  Now he has started again.
“It was the shame of that incident that made the parents of that poor girl to pack out of Ikola Eleyin to somewhere else because they couldn’t stand the stigma the act has brought upon their family.”
According to Iya Ibeji who equally testified against Ogunbisi at the police station, “that is the way this foolish old man behaves. He’s fond of taking advantage of little girls in the area. He tried it with my female twins too but they didn’t fall for his antics because they were more mature.
“When they got home that day and told me what he asked them to do, I became very angry and dashed to his shop and warned him severely never to try such with my children again in his entire life. When I heard about this recent one, I never knew it was him at it again until I got here. I think it is high time this old man is severely dealt with in order to put a permanent stop to his hellish acts,” she said angrilly.
Ogunbisi, while speaking with P.M.NEWS, denied all the allegations levelled against him, saying that the girl was his customer and he did not rape her as was alleged.
“She is my customer and I used to buy puff puff from her. She only asked for our toilet to be used. It was true my wife challenged me and I explained everything to her. I never had sex with her and God is my witness,” he said.
When asked what took him to Meiran police station a few months back, he said that it was the girl he alleged to have raped that actually stole his money when she came to sew her cloth in his shop, adding that when he caught her and demanded for his money, the little girl’s parents twisted the whole issue and turned it to rape.
