BENIN — THE Police in Edo State, yesterday, paraded 50 suspects arrested in connection with robbery, cultism, rape, illegal possession of firearms and defilement.

Also in Ibadan, nine  robbery suspects were paraded yesterday by the Oyo State Police Command.

This came as the police said they had commenced full investigation into the robbery attack on a church, Vine Branch Church, where two policemen were shot dead, Sunday.

Edo Commissioner of Police, CP Foluso Adebanjo, who paraded the suspects in Benin also disclosed the arrest of 10 suspects in connection with cult related killings in the state.

While decrying the media sensational reports of cult killings in the state, he insisted that contrary to the high figure of deaths published by a section of the media, only three deaths were known to the police.
